ABOUT
As founder and owner of SCHIFFER ART CONSULTING, I advise private art collections strategically on the extension or development of their collections. I also act as consultant and curator for the art collection of the European Central Bank. Furthermore, I support Art Antwerp and Art Brussels as their German VIP Ambassador.
As former director of Galerie Buchholz, Cologne as well as Galerie Michael Werner, Cologne, I have worked closely with internationally successful and renowned artists such as Lutz Bacher, Nairy Baghramian, Danica Barboza, Moyra Davey, Trisha Donnelly, Isa Genzken, Anne Imhof, Markus Lüpertz, Cameron Rowland, Josef Strau, Wolfgang Tillmans or Katharina Wulff.
In addition, I have been engaged in dealing with works by Georg Baselitz, Marcel Broodthaers, James Lee Byars, Jean Fautrier, Otto Freundlich, Antonius Höckelmann, Jörg Immendorff, Per Kirkeby, Eugène Leroy, Ernst Wilhelm Nay, Francis Picabia, A.R. Penck, Sigmar Polke, and Don Van Vliet, and have worked intensively with international collectors.
Over fifteen years I have represented galleries at numerous international art fairs, such as Art Basel, Basel, frieze London, fiac Paris, frieze New York or Art Cologne, Cologne, and thus cultivated international contacts with galleries, collectors and players in the art market.
I hold a Master’s degree in Art History and Literature from the University of Cologne.
